I am a Season Ticket Holder, how do I purchase tickets online?

You should get a voucher for each show for the number of season tickets you have purchased. With this Voucher you may reserve your seat(s) online. If you do not receive a Voucher, please send an email to tickets@drapertheatre. Your email should contain in the subject as Season Ticket Holder and provide your name(s), telephone number and number of season tickets you hold. Indicate if you would like the voucher re-issued or simply choose the date of the performance you wish to attend and indicate your seating preferences an we will take care of the rest and hold your tickets in will call. You can also come to the performance date and present your season pass to obtain tickets.


What ages are Children, Senior and Students?

Draper Historic Theatre has a multi-tier pricing giving discounts to children, students and seniors. Children are any child 12 years or younger, Seniors are anyone over age 55 and Students are any person which is actively attending grade, college, or trade school and can provide a valid student ID.


How does purchasing my tickets online benefit me?

Purchasing your ticket online allows advance purchase of your tickets with the widest selection of seats. When arriving at the theatre, bypass the box office line and show your tickets to the usher at the will call desk. Lost tickets can be easily looked up and re-issued at the box office.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets will go on sale a week or two before opening night. The shows listed on the tickets page will indicate when tickets go on sale. Season Ticket Holders will be able to reserve tickets 30 days in advance.

How much do tickets cost?

Prices will be indicated on the tickets page.

Can I buy tickets for more than one performance all on the same order?

Yes. When your order displays, before you click on the “Buy” button you can click on another performance. Select seats for that performance and we’ll add them to your order.

Can I still buy tickets at the door?

Yes, if seats are available, we will have tickets for sale at the door.

Do I need a PayPal account to buy tickets?

No. You can pay with a credit card at the PayPal web site. PayPal doesn't know which seats you've chosen, so be sure to come back to our web site after completing your purchase so you can print your online ticket. Also, we do not recommend that you pay with a check or bank account, as it takes 3-5 days for your payment to clear but the hold on your seats expires after 13 minutes. See the question below about taking too long to complete an order.

Is this secure? What information do you store?

All the sensitive information from your credit card stays at PayPal. We never see it. We do get your name, email address, and phone number, which we use to send you a link for your electronic ticket or to contact you if there is a problem.

Do you mail me a ticket? How do I get the actual ticket?

We don’t mail you a paper ticket. After paying at PayPal, click on the “Print Tickets” link to return and display your electronic ticket. You’ll also receive an email with a link that will display your electronic ticket. Print that ticket and bring it with you the night of the performance.

I lost my ticket, can i get a replacement?

If you provided your name during checkout, tickets purchased on-line and/or at the box office can be replaced with proper Identification.

What is a voucher?

Vouchers are coupons for tickets, and is how we distribute complimentary tickets. We also use vouchers if there is an error processing an order or for some other reason we need to issue a credit.

How do I use a voucher?

Your voucher will be sent in an email with instructions on how to use it.

What happens if I take too long to complete my order?

If the hold on your seats expires before you finish paying, another customer could come and purchase the seats you selected. In that case, we have your money but you have no tickets! Don’t worry, you’ll have to start the order process over again, but we’ll issue you a voucher so you won’t have to pay twice. You can easily avoid this hassle: just don’t dawdle.

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?

The online box office limits you to 40 tickets per performance. But we’re happy to sell you more! Please contact us using the “Contact” link above and we’ll accommodate your group.

What Time do shows start?

Show times are indicated on the event page and show schedule. Shows will start on time. Box office will be open one hour before each performance and the house will be open 30 minutes prior to the show start.

What if I am late?

If you arrive late you will be asked to take the first available seat with minimal disturbance to other individuals. Generally speaking, late patrons are held at the back of the theatre and will be seated at the managements discretion. Seat reservations are subject to cancellation.

Something came up, I can't go to the show, can I get a Refund?

All ticket sales are final. Exchanges will be made and/or Vouchers issued if notice is received 24 hours in advance. Tickets purchased on-line may be exchanged online or by sending a note to Season Ticket Holders and Patron Card Members may exchange tickets for alternate performances or events up to 15 minutes before performance..

Canceled Performance.

If a performance is canceled, you may return your tickets to the Theatre Box Office for a full refund or exchange toward another performance or event. Refunds are granted only for canceled performances. All events are subject to performer, date, or time changes. Should a change in the scheduled program occur, the Theatre will make a timely announcement and contact ticket holders as efficiently as possible.

Special Needs

Patrons with special needs should call the box office at (801) 572-4144 to notify us of the needs. DHT can accommodate wheel chairs at the end of most rows and special seats are selected wheel chair spaces. Advance notice is needed for special seating arrangements as we may not be able to accommodate you on the night of the performance.
